Giovanni Gastel app for iPhone and iPad

Giovanni Gastel was born in Milan on December 27th, 1955 to Giuseppe Gastel and Ida Visconti di Modrone, the last of seven children.
When he was twenty, he decided to become a photographer, starting with wedding portraits, portraits of friends and small still- life photos of artistic objects.
Due to his education and his love of art, from the 80s he succeeded in turning the still-life concept into an art form, using advertising photography: working with the most prestigious magazines in the world, he has used his pictures to describe creative experimentation that reflects the changes in customs over the past thirty years. To date he has published five books mixing art and photography, and has held fifteen exhibitions, some collective and some one-man shows.
